High Volume Custom Foam

We consider custom foam inserts to come in two main categories, High Volume and Low Volume. While both types of business' are welcome, there is a major difference between pricing the two out. For low volume (usually anything less than about 10) we us a CNC cutter specifically designed to offer a low cost solution. Customers are happy they can order low volume while keeping the price within budget. However when comparing high volume prices with low volume prices we are not comparing "apples" to "apples".

When purchasing custom foam in high volume we no longer use the low volume CNC machine, but rather transfer the work to a diepress machine using a steel rule die. The up front cost is more for a die, usually between $100 & $300, but once made the price
